About BroadBit Batteries Oy

BroadBit Batteries was founded in December 2015 by Andras Kovacs and David Brown. The company employs 10 people, all PhDs or MScs. Our business model is to develop and manufacture battery components (anodes, cathodes and electrolytes) based on our proprietary lithium and sodium battery technology. We have approximately 90 patents pending and 25 granted patents, worldwide on our battery chemistries, structures, manufacturing technologies and uses. We have raised approximately 7.5M€ in public and private funding and are now scaling production of our first product, ProLion Li-ion electrolyte.
