DNY Finland Oy Helsinki Shipyard has long experience in designing and building passenger- and cruise vessels. We are also known for icebreakers and other special vessels for arctic conditions. The shipyard is centrally located in the city of Helsinki. DNY Finland Oy is a Group Davie company.

Our offering
Helsinki Shipyard develops and builds advanced ships and other floating solutions for its customers. In addition, we carry out various ship docking, repair and life-cycle extension projects. Helsinki Shipyard specializes in the design and construction of small and middle size cruise ships and expedition cruise vessels as well as of icebreakers and other high ice class wells for demanding conditions.
About DNY Finland Oy
The roots of Helsinki Shipyard date back to year 1865 when Helsingfors Skeppsdocka was established. Vessels have been thus built at the same location for more than 150 years, including over half of the operating icebreakers in the world. We constantly strive to develop new solutions for shipbuilding and to be the forerunner in our field. In November 2023, Group Davie announced that it has finalized the acquisition of the assets of Helsinki Shipyard. Today DNY Finland Oy Helsinki Shipyard is a Group Davie company.
