Nordics 2050 at SXSW 2024
South by Southwest (SXSW) is one of the major annual events in the US, bringing together tech companies, creative industries, and policy makers for endless discoveries in Austin, Texas from March 8-16! Attendees can explore a unique mix of innovative new technologies, interactive media, music, film, wellness, food, and design. SXSW attracts more than 400.000 visitors annually, majority of attendees are key decision-makers, investors, and business professionals.

Business Finland is hosting an event “Nordics 2050 at SXSW 2024” on March 12 in Austin, TX, together with Nordic partners, Finnish companies, and the City of Tampere. The full day program consists of a series of panel discussions, deep dive workshops, and company meetup space.
For many years in a row, Business Finland has been building a platform for Finnish companies to tap into and get visibility at SXSW. Together with our partners, we are showcasing how Finland and the Nordics lead the discussion in sustainability, AI, Future Foresight, Cybersecurity and Metaverse. Our partners include Finnish companies such as A-CX, Burst Live, Citynomadi, Immersal, Saidot, and Wartsila, as well as YLE, Music & Media, VTT, and Kira Hub.
